This virtual option has been in the works for quite awhile and we are so excited to share that we’re ready bring all the community, the education and support right to your living room!

We’ve all heard the generic recommendation for exercise in pregnancy, “Do what you’ve been doing and listen to your body.” Well, at Bodies for Birth, we believe and know we can do better.

People ask us what makes us different…

It’s the intentional program design, the childbirth education woven into every single class. It’s the specialized services that have been created based on exactly what the pregnant and postpartum body needs to feel it’s best.

It’s our community of mamas who long to be active participants in their journey throughout motherhood–individuals seeking education, informed decision making and holistic wellness. It’s the village of friendship that grows week after week.

Ours is a powerful, loving community! If you’re ready to feel energized and to gain fitness in pregnancy (yes, it’s possible!!), let’s get started!  We welcome you to join us!  

Classes are booked for eight consecutive weeks with new sessions beginning seasonally.  

Our program is progressive in nature, meaning that you can join at any time in pregnancy and can continue right up until delivery!  With a new class each week, we build in strength and endurance.  By week eight, you will most certainly feel stronger!

Our classes are appropriate for all stages and fitness levels. Preconception clients are always welcome as well!

What you can expect:

  • Professional, specialized instruction with modifications for all levels of fitness and the common discomforts of pregnancy and postpartum.
  • To learn about and practice the fundamentals that will help to maintain comfort in pregnancy including alignment, diaphragmatic breathing and core strength.
  • Cardio intervals and specialized labor preparation intervals (1) with  guided imagery and visualization to help you stay strong, toned and fit!
  • To gain not only  physical strength and endurance, but mental resilience as well.
  • Functional bodyweight exercises and resistance training.
  • To train your mind and body to recover efficiently from physical exertion and to remain calm despite a body that’s working hard physically.  These tools are essential for every individual’s labor preparation!
  • A supportive, fun, VIRTUAL class environment.
  • A warm, loving community.

 Group training is appropriate for both the beginner and the veteran exerciser.


All the Details & How to Register! 

When and Where:

  • Our classes will be held LIVE and VIRTUALLY via Zoom.
  • Each series will run for eight consecutive weeks and will be absolutely packed with goodness!
  • You can take this series once as your stand-alone Prenatal Fitness Education/Labor Preparation Class OR, you’re welcome to repeat this series throughout pregnancy.  You are guaranteed to find new learning, increased fitness and expanded community each time!

Pricing:

  • $240/8 class series
  • Payment must be made in full prior to the start of class.

Registration:

  • Please email me with your intent to register and submit payment via Venmo or Paypal for the series!
  • Once payment has been received, you can expect email confirmation of your enrollment within 24 hours.
  • Your Welcome Email will contain Paperwork, Waivers and all the info you need to get started!
  • Registrations will be accepted up until 24 hours prior to the first class, but no later than this time.

FAQs re: Missed Classes, Equipment & Replays!

Class Scheduling & Timing Details:

We will meet weekly for eight weeks. Class will begin promptly and I will begin allowing participants into the virtual classroom five minutes before the start of class to allow for community building and chatter!  Class will be 75 minutes in length.

Missed Classes: 

If you miss a class, I will email you the Class Lesson Plans including the workout for your completion independently. In addition, I will always be happy to answer questions regarding the content you missed. Thank you!!

Confidentiality:

I aim to create a safe, confidential space which means that I will not be recording the sessions or sending replays.  This also means that all conversations/sharing that happens during class is expected to remain confidential so that each participant feels comfortable; thank you!! 

Optional Equipment:

You do not technically need any equipment other than your own bodyweight for these classes!  

That being said, there are some helpful tools that you might want to consider purchasing.  Here are Amazon links for ease and clarity on the items (I have no affiliation).  If you have any questions, please let me know!! And rest assured, I will provide bodyweight options for any equipment that you might not have on hand!
