Green Smoothies:
Oh how I love a green smoothie!  In fact, it’s rare to open our fridge without finding at least a jar or two lined up and ready to go!  I like to say it’s my “Joyful Non-negotiable.”  I love the routine and ritual of slicing, blending, pouring…and the feeling as my body absolutely soaks up the nutrients each day. Book:

In full disclosure, I’ve been reading this book for a year now…in fact, I’m reading all of Tami Lynn Kent’s books currently.   I’m savoring this one in particular and am re-reading sections over and over.  Despite the fact that I’m only halfway through and typically only read a few pages in any one sitting, each time I find that seeds of wisdom and inspiration have been planted. I find myself processing and working through things for days afterward.  I have incorporated new practices of mothering not only for my son, but for myself with the help of this book and I truly believe it should be on every mother’s bookshelf.
